Marketing for Latino businesses in Florida: Miami, Orlando and Tampa in 2026
Florida has one of the largest Hispanic markets in the country. Here's what works to reach it, why language matters and which pieces you can't skip.
Florida is one of the best places in the country to run a business that serves the Latino community. But it's also one of the most competitive. In Miami, Orlando, Kissimmee or Tampa, there's almost always another business just like yours a few blocks away. The difference comes down to who is easy to find and who builds trust faster.
A huge market
- The U.S. is home to 70.1 million Hispanics, 21% of the population (Census, 2025). Florida is one of 16 states with more than a million Hispanic residents.
- If U.S. Latinos were a country, their economy would be worth $4.4 trillion, and their consumer spending would be the third largest in the world, at $2.8 trillion (LDC and ASU, 2026).
- Latino-owned businesses with employees grew 44% between 2018 and 2023 (Stanford, 2025).
What works with Latino customers in Florida
- Really speaking their language. Not running everything through Google Translate, but writing the way your customers talk. In Miami, a Cuban audience isn't the same as a Venezuelan or Colombian one.
- Being bilingual. Many families consume in both Spanish and English. Having your website and Google profile in both languages expands your market.
- WhatsApp as your main channel. For many Latinos, sending a WhatsApp message feels more natural than filling out a form.
- Reviews and referrals. Trust is everything. A review from someone in the community carries a lot of weight.
- Short video. According to Pew Research (2025), 62% of Hispanic adults use Instagram, above the national average.
A common mistake
Many businesses in Orlando or Hialeah put everything into Instagram because "that's where the community is." And yes, it is. But when that customer wants to hire you, they search on Google, check your reviews and message you. If they can't find you there, or you don't reply quickly, that nice post did nothing. Digital marketing isn't just Instagram.

Frequently asked questions
Should I market only in Spanish?
It depends on your customers. Many Latino families consume in both languages, so a bilingual presence is usually ideal.
Does WhatsApp work for selling?
Yes. For many Latino customers it's the most comfortable channel to ask questions, get quotes and book.
Do you work with businesses outside Georgia?
Yes. We work with businesses in Georgia, Florida, the Carolinas, Texas and other states, in English and Spanish.
